Hot & Tasty - Initial Ideas

I need to start and push forward with this brief to make some progress, so I got out my layout pad to sketch down some initial possible ideas on what direction to take it other than the icons that I have already experimented a bit with.

I got ideas such as the icons, typography based that I imagine I could go down the route of either the italic type, or type that looks like its been wood blocked or something, as well as using the & across everything, random shapes of the colours and hand drawn illustrations of the products that they sell.
