Top Ten - Blink 182 Always - Sequence 3

Considering how even though there is movement throughout the previous sequence it still doesn't seem too interesting, I sketched down this idea which moves differently, and includes rotation as well as movement.

When I digitised this idea it looks quite interesting, although lines up a lot differently to what I sketched out. This doesn't really matter though as shown in the storyboards.

I think this idea will be quite a good one to use actually as it will look a lot more interesting with the different types of movements that it will have going on.

Top Ten - Blink 182 Always - Sequence 2

Thinking back to how I liked the idea on the previous song where the sequence was constantly moving, I sketched down an idea which does this.

I digitised this idea to help with drawing out the storyboards.

I do like this idea, although when I was drawing it out it occurred to me that not really much actually happens in the ten seconds to make it that interesting really, although it could look more interesting once it is actually on screen rather than on these storyboards.

Top Ten - Blink 182 Always - Sequence 1

I feel that I have enough sequences to work with now for the I Miss You song sequence so I have decided to move on to another song's 10 second sequence. The next song that I will work with is 'Always'.

When I sketched down this idea really quick it didn't turn out to look as interesting as I was imagining.

I decided to story board it up anyway, so again as I have done with the previous sequences I have come up with I made it digitised to use for when I sketched out the storyboard.

I thought when I came to storyboarding this idea up it would make it look more interesting like I was imagining, but I just failed. There is ways that I could get it to be more interesting but I think I will just work on a few more ideas before doing so as I may come up with something else I prefer.

Top Ten - Blink 182 I Miss You - Sequence 5

Here's another idea for a sequence that I sketched down. I wanted to try and be a little different with this one to the other ones although I guess there is only so much variation you can make with ten seconds and the same content.

When digitising it's interesting to see like the big differences between the size of the text when it is put together, like because it will essentially appear the same size on the screen when it appears but in actual relation to other text for certain parts of it then there is actually quite a difference. I hope that this is executed and represented well when I come to producing one of these sequences in aftereffects.

I did the same with this one as I did with the previous one when I drew out these storyboards where I left off the I miss you part at the end because it would really just be the same as the endings of the first ones.

Top Ten - Blink 182 I Miss You - Sequence 4

Keeping with the constantly moving aspect I liked with the previous idea, here's another sequence idea I sketched down.

I digitised this up again like I have with the previous ones. I figured even though there isn't many certain aspects where the words are stacked on top of each other that it doesn't necessarily matter how it looks at this stage on screen, but I tried to keep it looking decent rather than just having the words scattered all over.

Storyboarding this idea was quite interesting, and I like having the mixture of words scrolling across screen along with the alignment of words with each other. Also, I figured at this stage what I have been doing with the 'I Miss You' part at the end I have only varied between two ideas for this so I didn't draw it out on these storyboards as I figured I could just use it from previous ones.

Top Ten - Blink 182 I Miss You - Sequence 3

Here is another sequence that I thought of and sketched down for the song I Miss You.

Producing this idea on Illustrator proved to be quite interesting as it looks slightly different with how things fit together so I have definitely seen the benefit of doing this more with this sequence.

I like the fact that with this idea there is constant movement throughout the sequence with the words, I think this will work really well and look interesting. Also, I think the part where it zooms into a section of one of the letters for the last part will work quite well.

Top Ten - Blink 182 I Miss You - Sequence 2

I want to come up with a few different ideas for each of the ten second sequences as I don't want to just use the first thing I come up with. That way then if I just like certain aspects of each I could possibly merge them together (or at least try). Here is the next sequence I came up with.

Digitising up this idea didn't really feel as necessary as the previous sequence as it's pretty much more straight forward until the last section where it zooms into a section. Even so, I did it anyway to help with putting together the storyboards.

This sequence is fairly straight forward with one word appearing on the screen then another, and not really much movement until towards the end of the sequence when the line 'a voice inside my head' scroll across the full screen, and then zooms into the middle of a letter - I quite like this aspect.
