Cocktails - Cocktail Descriptions #1

In order to be able to rename them appropriately, I first need to know everything that I can about each of the cocktails. I will need it anyway to use in the book that I am producing so I will get to this. I will use more than one source for this to make sure that the information I collect and use is as accurate as I can get it. So also to avoid a extra long blog post with everything, I'll just do a few per post.

Apple Martini
"There are many versions of the Apple Martini, Appletini, or Big Apple Martini. Some use calvados, some apple puree, and some apple schnapps. This recipe uses the apple schnapps and has a very sweet taste and, depending on which brand you choose, will determine how bright of a green your drink will be. If you'd like to have a Sour Appletini, use Sour Apple Pucker. For an extra, edible touch to this drink, garnish with a green apple slice or peel." (link)

"An apple martini (or appletini) is a fine drink to enjoy with friends or alone, but to qualify as a real Apple Martini, the ingredients must include Vodka and one or more of the following: apple juice, apple cider, apple liqueur, or apple brandy. Without one of these, it's not an actual proper Appletini. Detailed on this website are 10 popular apple Martini recipe ideas you can easily create in a jiffy. These all look great served in a cocktail glass, but any type of clear glass will be just fine. Simply mix-them-up & enjoy!" (link)

"Sour green apple steals the show in this icy-cold martini. It's very refreshing with a nice hint of sour.—Taste of Home Test Kitchen" (link)

Screaming Orgasm
"This cocktail started off as a Mudslide - made with Russian Standard vodka, Tia Maria, Amarula Cream, milk and cream, substitute Disaronno Amaretto for the vodka and the recipe becomes an 'Orgasm', add the vodka to an 'Orgasm' and it becomes a 'Screaming Orgasm'. Although a dodgy name - the cocktail itself is like a rich and creamy liquid pudding!" (link)

"When someone orders a Screaming Orgasm they are looking for an Orgasm with vodka included. This small difference makes it easy to add both shooters to your bartender's repertoire. The Screaming Orgasm tastes the same as it's predecessor but is thinner and more potent. Both are popular party shots and the combination of liqueurs is one of the more pleasant flavors among shooters." (link)

"Ingredients: 1 oz (3.38 cl) Vodka, 1.5 oz (5.07 cl) Bailey's Irish Cream (Irish Cream), 0.5 oz (1.69 cl) KahlĂșa (Liqueur, coffee)
