YCN Feel Good - Crit 29/02/12

Before the crit, we had to get our heads together to discuss what we have come up with and found, and identify exactly what it is we're going to do and put together a concept statement, ready to pitch to others in the crit group.


The main thing that we would like to achieve with this project is that we want to make people smile. So we thought about different things that make us smile.


This is the concept statement that we came up with and presented to others.


This is the feedback we received.



We explained to the group how the main problem we found with the company is their lack of brand awareness, and how they don't really stand out and actually just mimic other similar companies, as though they are trying to be a bit too much of everything.

From the crit we have many options to take the brief. We have decided to go down their 'make us famous route' on the brief, and will look at ways to possibly help them stand out more.

The audience that they have given on the brief is pretty big ranging from 16 - 34 year olds, so we have decided to narrow this down a bit to 22 - 28 year olds to work with.

For the next crit, we need 5 concept boards.
