Communication Is A Virus - Ideas Development

Now we have decided on the initial idea to use for the project, we had discussions on different things such as the target audience and methods of delivery. We put together mind maps with these on, but the main two we really focused in on and thought would work well as to either produce a calendar for a middle aged business person who is stuck in a rut and would maybe want to try some small different tasks every so often to break free from their routines, or to do a calendar for families to use over the summer to use to get ideas and spend time as a family with their kids whilst they are off school.

After discussing the pros and cons for both these ideas, we decided that the calendar for the business person would probably be more feesable, as the target audience decided for the families one would be to the parents that don't necessarily work and have plenty of time to do the suggestion - but the huge obvious problem with this is the fact that they won't want to spend much or any money on doing the activities, and most probably would just not bothered. We think the business people one because getting stuck in a rut can be really daunting, and just having little suggestions of different things to maybe fit in once a week could really help to break free from their routines and hopefully make them feel better within themselves in the long run.

At this point, we came to a stand still waiting for our progress crit to take place to make sure we were on the right lines with what we are wanting to do, and see whether both Amber and Jo think it would be a good idea and see what they suggest. In the mean time until the crit took place, I did some research into some existing calendars that are that bit different from ordinary calendars that we could maybe use as inspiration for our own. This can be seen here.

For the crit, we were required to produce 3 A2 design sheets explaining our concept, content, and method. Matt designed these for us to use:
