Cocktails - Ingredients & Method #1

Using the research that I have done on each of the individual cocktails, I will find the most common recipe and method for each and write them out for me to use in my book.

Apple Martini
Notes:

Using the notes, I typed them up.

Ingredients:

• 2 shots Vodka
• 1 shot Apple Schnapps
• Lime Juice

Garnish:

• Apple Slice

Method: 

• Fill cocktail shaker with ice
• Add all of the ingredients to the shaker
• Shake well
• Strain drink into a chilled martini glass
• Garnish drink with an apple slice

Screaming Orgasm

Ingredients:

• 1 shot Vodka
• 1 1/2 shots Baileys
• 1/2 shot Tia Maria

Garnish: 

• No garnish

Method:

• Fill an old fashioned glass with ice
• Pour vodka, then baileys, then tia maria into the glass
• Stir well

Sex on the Beach

Ingredients:

• 1 shot Vodka
• 1 shot Peach Schnapps
• Cranberry Juice
• Orange Juice

Garnish:

• Orange slice

Method:

• Fill highball glass with ice
• Pour the vodka and peach schnapps into the glass
• Stir gently
• Top up the glass with equal amounts of cranberry juice and orange juice
• Garnish drink with an orange slice

Long Island Iced Tea

Ingredients:

• 1/2 shot Gin
• 1/2 shot White Run
• 1/2 shot Tequila
• 1/2 shot Vodka
• Cola

Garnish:

• Lemon slice

Method:

• Fill highball glass with ice
• Fill cocktail shaker with ice
• Add all of the ingredients except the cola to the cocktail shaker.
• Shake well
• Strain the drink into the highball glass
• Top up with cola
• Garnish the drink with a lemon slice

Pina Colada

Notes:

Using the notes, I typed them up.

Ingredients:

• 1 shot White Run
• 1 shot Coconut Cream
• Pineapple Juice

Garnish

• Pineapple Wedge
• Cherry

Method:

• Add all of the ingredients to a blender, along with crushed ice
• Blend together
• Keep adding crushed ice until the desired consistency
• Pour into a hurricane glass
• Garnish drink with a pineapple wedge and cherry

Tequila Sunrise

Ingredients:

• 2 shots Tequila
• 1 shot Grenadine
• Orange Juice

Garnish:

• Orange Slice
• Cherry

Method:

• Fill highball glass with ice
• Add tequila to the glass
• Top up the drink with orange juice
• Carefully pour the grenadine into the glass
• Garnish the drink with orange slice and cherry

Cosmopolitan

• 1 shot Cointreau
• 2 shots vodka
• 1/2 shot Lime Juice
• 1 shot Cranberry Juice

Garnish:

• Lime Slice

Method:

• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
• Pour all of the ingredients into the shaker
• Shake well
• Strain drink into a chilled martini glass
• Garnish the drink with a lime slice

White Russian

• 1 1/2 shots Vodka
• 1 shot Tia Maria
• 1 shot Single Cream

Garnish:

• No Garnish

Method:

• Fill old fashioned glass with ice
• Pour the vodka and tia maria into the glass
• Gently top the drink with the single cream

Black Russian

Notes:

• 1 shot Tia Maria
• Cola (optional)

Garnish: 

• No Garnish

Method:

• Fill old fashioned glass with ice
• Pour the vodka and tia maria into the glass
• Top up the drink with cola if preferred
