After scanning over my lists there is a few things within a category that seems to be quite persistent throughout - such as coffee, coffee shops, tea, milk, etc, which fall under the category 'beverages'. I gave it a quick thought and then looked back over the lists again but I think that this will actually be quite interesting to do because there are many routes to go with it - which is what I want.

So my topin for the 100... research brief we have been given to complete over Christmas will be beverages.

Photoshop Experiments

Using what I learnt from the Photoshop induction we had, I have experimented with a few different images incorporating a few things I already know as well.

What If... - Further Development

With our time constraints we know as a group that to actually turn the building into one of the suggested ideas would basically be impossible, but we do like the idea of preserving for the future so we are focusing more on the pure aesthetics of the building and introduce a/some designs on to the windows/boards to give the place a visually stimulating re-vamp. The idea is for us to produce a series of poster designs consisting of repetative patterns and colours to use.

We came across this West African symbol which represents change.

'Mmere Dane' - "Time Changes"

The group drew together some design sheets for ideas.

The group then started to rework and play around with the shapes incorporated within this symbol developing them into different pattern design ideas. Then after making them into possible poster designs. Here is what was produces:

Beth had a go at photoshopping a design on to the building boards to see how it would look:

Here is the poster designs that were put together:

So because we have low funds, and not much time we photoshopped the final posters on to the buildings rather than going and doing it to give us an idea of how it would look if we were to then go on and do it.

The final presentation of what we have done for this project went really well.
