"This is a popular Sex on the Beach and what is most likely the original. Popular substitutes include using pineapple for the orange, or Midori & Chambord instead of schnapps." (link)
"One of the most popular cocktails, a Sex on the Beach is a delicious fruity drink that almost anyone will like. It's a great tropical highball that is wonderful on hot summer nights or afternoons at the beach. Beginning bartenders should place Sex on the Beach on their list of drinks to know." (link)
"Sex on the Beach is a highball drink loved by people around the world, and this version with MIDORI – possibly the first ever Sex on the Beach – was created in America in the 1990s. It's one of those cocktails with a playful name, and people around America have had fun experimenting with different versions of the drink, meaning that no one "standard" recipe has been established. The color of this version may be misleading, but MIDORI is well and truly in there – its melon flavor steadily emerges as you down the drink. And while its name implies fun and high jinks, its classy, elegant flavors are second to none." (link)

Long Island Iced Tea
"The Long Island Iced Tea (LIIT) is the basis of many elaborate mixed-drinks. It dates to the 70's, named after the continental USA's largest island Long Island, in New York. Although it doesn't contain tea, it's taste is similar. The drink sits in the top 5 of most popular cocktails and is regularly mentioned or seen served in television and films (worthy mentions are The Simpsons, Sex and the City and Cruel Intentions)." (link)
"This is a popular mixed drink that should be in everyone's drink repertoire. An easy way to remember how to make a Long Island is to think of a small shot of 5 white spirits (gin, tequila, light rum, vodka, triple sec), shot of sour mix, fill with cola. It's really easy if you break it down, but it is also just as easy to drink too many." (link)
"Long Island Iced Tea is a very popular cocktail that is made with vodka, gin, light rum, tequila, triple sec, lemon juice, simple syrup, and cola. There isn't any actual iced tea in the drink––it's so named because it looks a bit like an iced tea when put together. A perfect drink for the warmer evenings." (link)

Pina Colada
"Almost everyone has heard of the Piña Colada (thanks in part to the 1979 Rupert Holmes song "Escape (The Piña Colada song)") and almost just as many people have probably tried one. It is one of the most popular tropical cocktails and it is definitely one of the creamiest.
This shaken version is a more recent adaptation of the original Frozen Piña Colada from the 1950's. Personally, I prefer the frozen version, but this is a nice option if a blender is not handy." (link)
