Communication Is A Virus - Designs Development

Following the crit, a few things needed tweaking on the hotdog book ready for being printed, and just other minor things on the other designs. One suggestion was to change the day we do Do Day from Wednesday to Tuesday, because 'Do Day on Tuesday' has more of a ring to it. After discussing it, we decided that we would change it, so all of this needed changing on the designs.

It was decided that to produce the hotdog books we would screen print them, because it will save us a lot of money and allow us to make quite a lot of them. Also, it will add to the authentic hand made look we are going for, so we got the files ready and set up for this to be printed and exposed on the screens.

As well as the hotdog books, we are also screen printing the flyers that will be handed out. These will be done on corrugated card to make them that bit more interesting and engaging.

These were the original designs of the cardboard flyers that Matt did. They didn't have the date on them so when someone gets one or picks one up and sees it they will just see it and be like 'ok.. when is Do Day' so we raised this issue, and after much persuasion it was put on to the back of them. Also, there is no link or any call to action on there so it is basically just that, so if someone did want to go and find out more about it or get involved with it they don't know where to go, but this was refused to be put on so there wasn't much to be done about this.

Dom also put together some email banners for us to attach on to the top of emails we want to send out about the day.
