100... - Moving Image Induction

Before we start we need to know limitations.

PAL:
   - video standard/specification
   - need to know specifications
   - dimensions are 720x576
   - plays back at 25 frames per second (fps)

Need to prepare images to make sure they are appropriate
   - right size - set to 720 pixels wide

To set all to the same at once in Photoshop
   - window - actions
   - click button at bottom of the pallet to create a new action
   - name it appropriately
        - resize for PAL
   - click record
   - then do what would do to resize
        - image size - resize
   - don't want it to save over the original image
        - save as
        - choose location to save
        - choose the image
   - press stop recording

To make this action then work, open the file and click the play button in the bottom of the pallet with that action selected.

To do it to multiple images at once
   - make sure all images are in the same folder
   - in Photoshop go to file - automate - batch
   - choose right action
   - choose the folder
   - destination is already set within the action so leave as none
   - click ok and it does it for you

To make Moving Image in Quicktime 7
   - file - open - open image sequence
   - find folder and select first image in the sequence and click ok
   - comes up with the settings box
        - PAL runs at 25fps
             - don't have to choose that right now
        - what chose determines speed of moving image
        - selected 12fps to start
   - if speed is wrong simply close and don't save, and start again

Once happy, it needs converting to a piece of video. To do this:
   - file - export. This will make it a video
   - name it appropriately
   - save
        - brings up export options
        - we want Quicktime movie then click options
        - has 3 options
             - compression type H.264
             - frame rate 25fps
             - set quality to best
   - then save

To put on blog just upload the video to YouTube/Vimeo and embed into posts.
