No News Is Good News Mailshot - Preparation

Before we get started, we are to answer these questions:

What?
Underage drinking problems.

Who?
Parents with young children ages 7 to 14.

Why?
Raise awareness about the amount of children being admitted to A&E.

How?
A Mailshot to communicate the message and raise awareness.
Infom.

To accompany the fact and opinion we came up with for the previous brief, we are to think of a relevant question as well.

I came up with a few..

  • How would you tackle underage drinking?
  • When do you start to talk to your kids about drinking?
  • How do you think underage drinking should be controlled?
  • What would you do if your child was rushed to A&E due to underage drinking?
  • How would you feel if your child was rushed to A&E due to binge drinking?
  • Did you know 36 children are admitted to hospital every day due to binge drinking?
  • Is your child drinking underage?
  • Do you know how many children are drinking underage?
  • How old were you when you had your first drink?
  • Have you ever binge drank?
  • What do you think about underage drinking?
  • Do you see underage drinking as a problem?

The question that I have decided to go with is:
How would you feel if your child was rushed to A&E due to binge drinking?

So because this brief is following on from the last one, I will use the same graphic elements I have used across the posters I designed on the mailshot I create.
